Allan is such a credit to handymen. Punctual, courteous and very professional. He did great job and the little kitchen looks completely different, gave great advice and knows other professionals who can come and do specialist jobs. Very glad to have hired him, highly recommended if you want a no nonsense professional who actually cares about costumers. Will definitely book again.

Allan is a solid gold nugget! He was given a really awkward job of replacing an en-suite sink. The sink was discontinued and the panel it fitted into had the wrong profile. Total disaster. Allan magically fabricated a new inset panel wrapped in a matching colour and grain profile. Fitted it and new sink and it looks superb! Nothing will beat Allan and his prices are very reasonable taking into account the time and effort he put in. He is a real character and his anecdotal stories are engrossing. I will be getting Allan back for other work and I know it will be done to his own exacting standards. Ignore the “ negative reviews “ they cant be true. He hasn’t been the area’s best loved handyman for all these years for nothing! Give him a call - you’ll be pleased you did 👍
Allan recently decorated and tiled the kitchen and replaced some damaged skirting Extremely reliable, professional and totally trustworthy. He is coming back to decorate other rooms and am delighted with everything so far. Great decorator and highly skilled handyman .

Needed a key code box installing as soon as possible so carer's had access. Alan took the job and said it would be installed before first care visit. Done in a few hours. Highly recommend Alan. 5* service and work.

Called Alan on 12th oct he was on holiday but said hed ring me in 3 days when he was back he didnt kept saying he would ring. I rang txted numerous times eventually he came out. What a miserable rude man it was cladding on bathroom ceiling a simple job but he said it was too fiddly and get some 1 else i asked why he had eventually came out and he told me it was because i kept ringing. Very rude miserable man he even said to keep my dog out of the way he is a very friendly small jack russell. If you want a unhelpful miserable (probs not capable) handyman then this guy is the handyman to go for !!!! But if not avoid this man like the plague
Bizarre experience. Asked him his hourly rate he said 18 per hour, minimum invoice value 40. Fair enough. He came to look at job putting boxes up a loft. He said no too dangerous/ not insurable. Fair enough. Tried to find him jobs for 40 pounds worth. Mount TV on wall and assemble futon. He said I had to lift TV onto mount myself because he didn't take responsibility for that. Then said the futon assembly was impossible. I looked it up on YouTube and did it myself. 6 minutes in total. Some handyman. The TV was mounted at a 10 degree angle. He charged my wife 54 pounds. He'd been with us less than an hour and some of that he was talking with one of our neighbors he knew. I sent him a text message asking for a detailed invoice and he replied "just forget it". Rude and incompetent. Avoid.
